     third item is 30% off,
     all the way to 90% off!

AAAANNNNDDD we just landed a new denim label, Kut! These jeans run very long in the legline so gals 5′9 and up will appreciate the additional length. (Vertically challenged shoppers can always ask the ever-talented and almost-always-on-premises Amanda J for hemming services.) Behold the two new styles: one is a casual cut in a medium blue denim with a rustic wash, and the other is a sleek and chic trouser  silhouette perfect for professional environments. As usual, we’ve unpacked a slew of new styles for your shopping pleasure!

We’re thrilled to announce our newest line of trendy tees and fancy blouses, Kische! Designed for a customer between the sizes of 16 and 28, this is one of our first new lines to accommodate shoppers up past a size 24. Featured in a range of gorgeous colors, styles include a swing blouse with a ruched collar, a collapsed waist tee with gorgeous full sleeves, and a matching zebra print/ half duster ensemble that is really glam. We also unpacked a new pattern of our kicky maxidress, green with black and white swirlies. These dresses have been a smash, as they accommodate all shapes of busts and hips, and are supercomfy with lots of seasonal versatility. We also just got a new colorblocked dress in a knee-length hemline. Colorways are pink/ white/ turquoise or yellow/ purple/ white with black. Part of our “chic-n-cheap” collection, these dresses are oodles of fun!

Just in from Kiyonna, their Grecian maxidress in Navy. This blue is deep and rich, very unexpected and elegant! Perfect for a semi-formal or creative black tie event, we were thinking that this dress would be a SMASH with metallic snakeskin shoes and a gold clutch!

Finally Amanda from Redskew delivered her newest print, a brown and white bandana print with white trim. Always made by hand with love right here at vive la femme, this skirt perks up any simple white tee or button down and will go right into early fall with a jean jacket or white twinset. We currently only have four available, so hurry in if you are a Redskew fan!

Mark your calendars! Inspired by my own positive experiences with Pilates and yoga, vive la femme is hostessing a unique networking event to bring together bodyworkers and plus-size women on Saturday, July 25th from 5p to 7p. Confirmed attendees include Nourhy Chiriboga of NOW Studio, Jessica Rask of Bikram Yoga Andersonville, and Abi Lynn, a massage therapist and doula.

The vive la femme staff hopes the event will encourage plus-size women to speak directly with instructors about their fears and perceptions, and give healers and teachers a chance to reach out to an often overlooked audience.
