We are supertotallymajorly excited about the shipments that keep rollin’ in for spring 2010! Behold the goodness that is our latest round of shipments:

We received some great new “cheap-n-chic” options — check ‘em out! Crisp and girly, these tieback blouses from Missphit come in a black/white and white/back pattern with a ribbon belt. They are adorable as a standalone piece with black pants or a slim black skirt or as a fun underlay for a jacket or blazer!

And here is the world’s most English schoolgirl-esque lightweight trench in classic and classy cream and black plaid print with a pop of red. I am going to wear this with a black satchel and a black cloche hat and it will be smashing, darling! And we also had the pleasure of unpacking a fabulous swish dress in red, black, and this deep berry color that is truly an amazing deal for just $50. Bra-friendly and totally comfortable, this piece is perfect for upcoming casual weddings and garden parties!

Amanda from Redskew is whipping up a new wave of confectionary graphic skirts for spring and here is the first of many! Designed in her signature a-line silhouette, this floral pattern in shades of green and pink is all happy, all the time! Paired here with our $35 cropped cardy in loden green, it makes for a darling transitional piece with lots of style mileage well into the warmer season.

Finally, we unpacked a handful of goodies from Karen Kane including this adorable raspberry shade with a sweet beadwork placket! This shape is running a bit full and it reading well on gals with full chests and curvy hips. Pop an all-black outfit with this amazing color or mix it in with lime green or lemonade yellow for a very naughty retro-prep look! Finally, we have a stunning black silk blouse with glorious embroidery work along the neckline and sleeves. The shape of this piece is marvelous on Amanda, really fitting her curves and frame and laying wonderfully against her shoulders and torso. I think she should take it…don’t you (wink wink)?

We’ve got our on fireworks happening here at vive la femme!  Stop by to celebrate the liberation of your own personal style with five new shipments!Just in from Kiyonna, their pintuck vneck babydoll dress in black and red!  Perfect for the busty ladies among us, this dress can be worn to work with *pop* tank top and maryjanes, or on the weekends with foxy jewelry and bitchin’ heels.  Comfortable and packable, this dress is a clean canvas for many occasions!

Back from Olivia Harper, more babydolls in periwinkle or black with the front slash detailing!  These frocks work well on petites and hourglass shapes.  Super chic and very unique, our darling staffer Hannah took one and wore in with legging and sandals, and we’ve also seen it work wonderfully for outdoor weddings and business travelers.

Got sundress?  Check out the new ruched-top tube maxi dresses from our awesome junior LA label in awesome patterns and colorways of white/floral, cream/brown/turquoise and purple/orange.  Amanda just snagged one and is popping it with a Kiyonna summer cardigan in berry, and I tried the purple/orange one with a tangerine topper and LOVE-DED IT.

Also, just in from killer LA label Mai Tai, a sweet floral sundress PERFECT for those with small chests and womanly hips.  As usual, you know who you are!  Colorways are teal/tangerine and yellow/purple, and the straps are adorned with a funky wooden bead.  Adorable!

Finally, we have a MAJOR shipment from Missphit, including a reorder on the floaty lavender or black swing blouse in summer silk, and two new darling blouses — one a button-down gingham in black/white or red/white, the other a ruffle front button in deep turquoise or sleek black.  So cute for picnics and BBQs!

Just in from Zen Knits, another round of easy breezy softy separates! Check out the scrumptiously comfy tees, tanks, and dresses for the ultimate in versatile spring style. We have a ton of go-to basics in black, work-friendly shades of brown, and pop pieces in purple. Mix and match shades and shapes for a street-chic layering look, or slip a tee under a lightweight jacket for a professional option. This is our final Spring shipment from ZK, so stop in if this is a line you LURVE.

Dresses and frocks abound from Maggy London! Vintage-lovers simply must slip into the silk-linen black chiffon bubble dress, and anyone going to an early spring wedding will be besotted by the colorblocked frock in cream/ red/ black for a timelessly terrific look. Maggy London’s designs have been a favorite of the staff, as they offer a real jolt of ladylike style without sacrificing an iota of comfort.

Sunny style from Los Angeles is in full effect this week with a fun and fab mini-shipment from Missphit including their signature polka-dot babydoll top and a new silk/cotton blend short-sleeve blouse in elegant black and playful lavender! All Missphit tops are only $35 and will definitely make any pair of jeans really pop! Also in from our West Coast friends, a few more Kiyonna gather front tops in brilliant blue and bold black, as well as some professionally pretty ruffle wrap tops in color pink and turquoise blue.

Finally, Redskew delivered her “Blueberry” skirt which is so gosh darn tootin’ cute we put it immediately on Sweetcheeks, our trusty mannequin! Stitched up with love right here at vive la femme, the Blueberry is a HOT pattern of op art in shades of deep berry blue, dusty yellow, and sophisticated sage. We paired it with the new tie-back top in deep sapphire and all of us have been raving about the outfit! We still are well stocked in ZCav jeans with several cuts and washes to choose from, and we are expecting several denim shipments in the near future, including a new range of premium jeans and cords. Yay for pants!

Just in from Kiyonna, a reorder of their classic ruched waist vneck dress in deep plum and clean black. Endlessly versatile as a foil for accessories and footwear, these dresses are a vive la femme customer favorite! As of Friday afternoon, we are stocked in both colors and all sizes. Also be sure to check out the two new dresses from Maggy London - -one is a simple black shift with sleeves, and the other is a cowlneck with a pop-art floral border print. Both dresses travel like a dream and are supercomfortable. Come in to rock the frock!

The swing coats from Missphit have already been a smash! Check out the ferocious tiger print (my fave, of course), retro giraffe pattern, and stately brown/gold tweed. Priced at only $65, these pop toppers add immense style to any fall coat collection! Taller ladies should also try on the bubble-hem belted trench in pewter gray and shiny black. Very Sixties and mod, and for $75, a total steal for singular style!

We’re also waiting on topper jackets from Schaart Clothing, a slew of awesome skirts from Yolanda Kwan, and work-friendly blouses from igigi!
